Today, Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez was traded back to the Texas Rangers after not even an entire season with the Houston Astros. Talk about a slap in the face for the 2009 Houston Astros roster, as this trade is symbolic of the death of the team's chance at the post-season. I am a Pudge fan. Veteran catcher, and the best offensive catcher Houston had acquired in years (no offense, Brad, but let's be honest.) As I will be attending tomorrow's game, I have vowed to get drunk in honor of the beloved gold glover.
Also, this trade begs the question: Why the hell do we still have Matsui?
